The following is an overview of the main features of Hostelys.

Controlled access Only registered users have access to the system. The privileges and access permissions are defined differently for each team member and managers.
Thus, the data is protected: only those who need them can view, or even change them.
All access is recorded in a log, this allows future reference and verification of selected operations, such as the granting of discounts, or making a reservation.

Quick acess The main functions are accessed with a few mouse clicks, or a few touches on the screens of tablets and smartphones.
On main menu, Hostelys has a simplified screen with most frequently used functions.
In this screen are also presented texts and warnings for the team, and the log of last transactions in the system.
Numerical indicators alerts potentially problematic situations, to be resolved efficiently .

Visual map of occupationHostelys works with an occupancy map, with views for period or biannually (for overview of using the hostel).
Maps for presenting prices of beds are also in graphic form and with colored strips.

Hosted guestsA central screen lists all guests currently in the hostel and features colorful banners with their situations, when nonstandard. For example, when the checkout should have been done and is still pending.
Through this screen are carried out all operations relating to guests as payments, extra charges, extension of stay or change of room / bed.

Tickets and receiptsTickets and receipts can be issued for several important situations on the day of a hostel, eg voucher for breakfast, guest receipts, receipt for payment of taxi drivers service, tickets concerning checkin, checkout, among others.

Situation nowTo answer the classical question: "How is the hostel at this moment? ", a special screen was created. In it are consolidated the most important information about the hostel, such as how many guests are expected, which rooms are occupied or empty, whether there is a problem of occupation, etc.

Bills to payThe system has special routines for control of bills to pay and bills already paid. Both paid by the reception box, as well as those paid by the cashier or by the accounts linked to the financial system of hostel.
This module feeds cash flow to facilitate the analysis of future available resources.
It feeds also the modules about analysis of spending by categories.

Graphic visualizationThe system emphasizes the graphic display of totals and values, aimed to simplify analysis processes performed by top managers of hostel.
